Boho Wedding at Four Seasons in Costa Rica
I have the pleasure of sharing the amazing wedding of Leanne and Nathaniel, which took place at the Four Seasons in Costa Rica! This iconic day since it was a celebration filled with genuine emotions, laughter, love, and heartfelt moments. Their closest friends made this day even more unique, and the exotic shores and the breathtaking scenery at the Four Seasons in Costa Rica made this couple from the US incredibly happy! Oh, and if you have ever wondered what a dream boho wedding would look like, this story will inspire you and answer all of your questions.
The wedding itself was like a dream, and the laid-back boho vibe was present everywhere you turned! Let me show you the wonders of the details, give you some handy information, and show you a dream Costa Rica Boho Wedding.
An Iconic Costa Rican Wedding
This whole wedding was ethereal, starting with the beautiful bride with her crown and continuing with the astonishing bridesmaids. They looked as flawless as Leanne did, and they managed to give that otherwordly feeling the bride was going for. Their free spirit and gentle manners allowed for the most breathtaking photographs. One could feel happiness and serenity throughout the day.
The wedding ceremony took place at Playa Virador at 4 pm – just before the golden hour, a moment when the light shines perfectly that will get you those breathtaking pictures. As the sun started to set, the couple exchanged their vows. They made their wedding even more unique by adding a water blessing ritual on the beach, which made it feel absolutely surreal. After that, some of the most astonishing sunset photos were taken. I always adore documenting the golden hour magic, so I ensured we used its allure to the fullest before continuing with the festivities. The celebration started around 6 PM with a reception at the Event Lawn. It included a long boho-styled table overlooking Papagayo Bay, featuring rich yet soft décor. This was the perfect way to finish the night out with beautiful decorations and the family and friends dancing late into the night.
What is a Bohemian-Style Wedding?
This is a specific type of wedding style that combines styles derived from the 60s and 70s with a little bit of modern chic flair. When you think about boho, people usually think about lacy elements, flowy white clothes, plenty of charming wildflowers, and earthy tones that take one’s breath away. But, of course, it is not just about the style! Even though the visual aspect is very important – as you can see from the images from this Boho-style wedding at Four Seasons; it is also about the free-spirited aspect of it. The textures can give off an eclectic feeling, and having a boho wedding means that you want to accentuate being a free-spirited couple, making the day both whimsical and elegant.
Naturally, wedding planners and happy couples are interested in vendors! So, for this wedding, many professionals worked on realizing Leanne and Nathaniel’s dream. Starting with the wedding dress Denisse M Vera designed and continuing with the bridesmaid dresses by @nomadicaclothing; you can find some of the most sought-after vendors underneath the gallery. Four Seasons Costa Rica – A Picturesque Wedding Destination
Now, a little bit about the location. The beautiful peninsula of Papagayo in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, is one of the most popular places in the country. The reason is due to the exotic scenery that enriches the land, making it the perfect location for a destination wedding. Tourists come from far and wide just so they can experience the beauty of the country, its mesmerizing beaches, and the coastlines that go on for miles. So, imagine how that would look in your wedding pictures and how exciting the whole guest experience would be. In addition, Papagayo embodies a wild, natural feel that ideally complements the boho aesthetic. Naturally, the choice of venue also plays a key role, but when combined with the surroundings, it feels like a dream come true! Leanne and Nathaniel chose to have a boho-style wedding at Four Seasons, and their vision materialized into the perfect wedding.
